| Additional Info : | I began my academic career as an Assistant Lecturer in Economics at the University of Ceylon, Peradeniya and Colombo and then shifted to the University of Jaffna in 1980 as Senior Lecturer. I migrated to New Zealnd in 1993 serving as a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the Massey University, Albany Campus, Auckland. I accepted the Professor of Economics position in the University of Jaffna in 2004 July and continue to occupy this to date. |
