Hartley College celebrated its 175th Anniversary from Wednesday July 10, 2013 to Saturday July 13, 2013 at the School. In addition to the the 4 day events, the 175th Anniversary Commemoration Stamp of Hartley College was officially released on Thursday, July 04, 2013 at the school.


WED. JULY 10, 2013: 175TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - DAY #1 of 4

Day #01 of the 175th anniversary celebrations was on the Wednesday July 10, 2013. Highlight of the day was the educational exhibition at the school.

  • THU. JULY 11, 2013: 175TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - DAY #2 of 4

    Day #02 of the 175th anniversary celebrations was on the Thursday July 11, 2013. Highlights of the day was the ceremonial opening of the 'new canteen', 'the computer unit', and teh 'open study stone benched centre' followed with the cultural programmes.

  • FRI. JULY 12, 2013: 175TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - DAY #3 of 4

    Day #03 of the 175th anniversary celebrations was on the Friday July 12, 2013. Highlights of the day was the presenting the 175th anniversary commemoration stamp and the memorial clock to the chief guest by the principal, final match then the prize giving. Mr. S. Nanthakumar, the zonal director of education, Vadamaradchy was the chief guest.

    Day #04 of the 175th anniversary celebrations was on the Saturday July 13, 2013. Highlights of the day was the presenting the 175th anniversary commemoration stamp and the memorial clock to the chief guest, speaches by the principal, PPA presidents, and the chief guest, awarding certificates, ceremonial launching of 175th Anniversary Magazine (Hartleyin Suvadukal) and then the cultural programmes. Mr. Mr. S. Sathiyaseelan, Secretary, Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs and Sports, Northern Province, was the chief guest.
