We regret to inform that Hartleyite Professor Balasingam Muhunthan passed away on Thursday
June 17, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, USA.
Muhunthan is the eldest son of Hartley College past principal Mr. P. Balasingam. He is survived by his wife Kalyani, daughters Vishaka and Priyanka.
He is a past-student of Hartley College (1972-80) and was a professor at Washington State University, USA. He is very well known for his kindness and helpful nature.
Muhunthan’s family, friends, and the Hartley community will dearly miss him.
Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and Hartley College community. May his soul rest in peace.
