Mr. Soorippillai Balayogan passed away at the age of 68 on 30th December 2010 in London, United Kingdom.
Mr. Balayogan was the son of late Soorippillai and Sinnamah, beloved husband of the late Seethaluxmi, loving father of Sobitha Sashikumar and Barathan, father in law of Sashikumar and Janaki Barathan and grand father of Adhavan and Aradhen.
Mr. Balayogan was the loving brother of Balachandran, late Balasuntharam, Krishnathevi, Balasothi, Balendran, Balathevidrathevi, late Balakrishanan, Balasingam, Theivanayaki and Yogathevi.
Balayogan was born in Thunnalai West Karaveddi on the 29th January 1942. He studied at Hartley College from 1954 to 1962 and graduated from Peradeniya University in 1967 and has since taught maths at various schools.
