She is an old student of MHS & Ramanathan College. She was born in Alvai North.

Mother-in-law of Selvarani and Ranjini,
Grand-mother of Kartheepan, Karthika, Kuganiya, and Kugalavan,

Kunanayagam (Hartleyite - 1931 to 1941),
Eeswaranathan (Hartleyite - 1945 to 1955),
Mahathevan (Hartleyite - 1947 to 1956 / Pyramid Air Services Ltd, Colombo),
Sister-in-law of Thevanayaki, Vijayarani, and Kumuthini.
