Obituary: Mrs. Umadevy Murugesu

Mrs. Umadevy Murugesu, mother of two Hartleyites M. Sivapalan (1967 batch) and M. Vinayagamoorthy (1974 batch) and sister of K. Sivapathasundaram (deceased), former Hartley College Zoology teacher and Principal of Vigneswara College, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 8.00 pm on Sunday October 19, 2008 at her ancestral home down Saraswathy Vidayalaya Lane in Karaveddy.

She was the beloved wife of Sangarapillai Murugesu (deceased), and treasured mother of Visaladchi (Karaveddy), Sivapalan (Illinois, USA), Sivasangaram (Toronto, Canada), Vinayagamoorthy (California, USA), Kalaivani (Karaveddy), Kalaiarasi (Colombo) and Kaladevi (Karaveddy).

Funeral will be held on Wednesday October 22 in Karaveddy.
